(-)-表没食子儿茶素没食子酸酯((-)-Epigallocatechin Gallate, EGCG),CAS NO. 989-51-5,是从绿茶中提取纯化的一种成分,是儿茶素类化合物中zui有效的活性成分,具有zui强的抗氧化、抗癌、抗突变和抗血管生成活性,已被用于多种肿瘤包括肝癌、胃癌、皮肤癌、乳xian癌和结肠癌等的化学预防研究中,也对许多病毒包括HCV、HIV-1、HSV-1、HSV-2、腺病毒等有抑制作用。EGCG属于一种天然的多酚黄酮类抗生素,能够抑制端粒酶(omerase)和DNA甲基转移酶(DNA methyltransferase),阻止EGF受体和HER-2受体的激活,也能抑制脂肪酸合成酶和谷氨酸脱氢酶的活性。是一种β-分泌酶抑制剂(IC50=1.6μM),能抑制淀粉样蛋白的组装,抑制由蛋白如Aβ,α-突触核蛋白和亨廷顿蛋白介导的淀粉样纤维的形成。能抑制细胞生长和选择性诱导A431和人胰腺癌细胞的凋亡。也是DNMT1抑制剂。
