Overview
The XP40-Di is an explosion-protected PTZ camera station, designed for use in hazardous areas in onshore, offshore, marine and heavy industrial environments. The units are certified for use in Zone 1 and Zone 2, Category 2G (Gas) and Zone 21 and Zone 22, Category 2D (Dust), Group IIC.
It is constructed from electropolished 316L stainless steel for maximum corrosion protection and is fitted as standard with a sunshield and an integral thermo-statically controlled heater element.
Fitted as standard is a 36X analogue block camera and a thermal core for continuous monitoring in complete darkness and adverse conditions such as prevaillant fog and smoke. They are controlled and switched through standard RS485 Pelco commands.
The XP40-Di is compatible with the XWP pressurised washer pump and can be specified with a conduit tail (standard 3m length, options from 1.5 to 15m) and a termionation enclosure (Ex e) or Ex d Transmission System.
The XP range can be used in conjunction with Oxalis video management solutions but is designed be compatible with most common video management systems.
