面议2009年在Frankfurt举办的ProLight+Sound/Musikmesse 上，AKG以很高的评价宣布了Perception话筒系列的产品?Perception 820 Tube。 
Perception 820 Tube为Perception系列家族中的一员，其产品还包括P 120, P 170, P 220以及 P 420。每个话筒都上的20分贝的衰减器和低阻滤器有利于扩增话筒在嗓音，铜管乐器，电吉他扩音器以及overhead miking等方面的功能。

Perception 820是由一个双重一英寸的真正电容式大型振动膜包裹，一次传递清晰精确地信号，尤其适用于主音，铜管乐器，overhead miking以及其他的应用。
ECC 83双三极管管状电路以及输出变压器意在为饱满的，流畅的立体声制造出偶次谐波。远程控制单元允许从*指向性，心形指向性到8字型指向性等9种不同的指向性中进行选择。
