Background: Alpha 1M non-covalently associates with the 44 kDa alpha chain to form the HLA Class I antigen complex. Human Alpha 1M associated with HLA Class I antigens are expressed on many types of cells including lymphocytes, thymocytes, monocytes, granulocytes, plaets, endothelial cells, and epithelial cells. It is absent on erythrocytes.

Storage: Store at –20 ºC for one year. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20ºC. When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody, the antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-4 ºC.
