首先，注意胶水品牌，不同品牌的胶水添加的原料会有差别，其对应的是自己品牌的橡塑管，如果不是配套使用，可能会出现粘合不了的情况，而且时有发生，因此新手朋友们购买与橡塑管同一品牌的胶水，效果会更好。
胶水选定以后，先摇晃瓶身，使胶水沉淀然后变浑浊，之后找一个容器，将胶水倒入其中放置，在此之前找出小刷子，接下来就可以对橡塑管进行粘结了。橡塑管粘好以后，要晾干一段时间，通常是5分钟，但是为了保证效果，放置二三十分钟，这样可以使橡塑管粘结的更结实。
