在科研、医疗、等院校及厂矿企业实验室等部门进行液相色谱层分析时，本仪器能自动计时、计滴、按峰分量收集层析液，从而代替手工操作，实现全自动收集，提收集质量和工作效率。
本收集器可与我厂生产的DHL系列恒流泵、TH系列梯度仪配套使用，也可以单独使用，配我厂生产的HD系列紫外检测仪可实现按峰收集。
